Story & Significance
The Tiger's Nest holds a legendary past. In the 8th century, Guru Rinpoche arrived on a tigress to subdue spirits before meditating for three years, three months, three weeks, and three days. This act firmly established Buddhism in Bhutan. Today, this pilgrimage site remains a sacred space where the earthly and spiritual realms converge.
