Story & Significance
Built in the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, Kyichu Lhakhang is among 108 temples raised in a day to pin a demoness hindering Buddhism. It sits on her left foot, anchoring faith in Bhutan. Blessed by masters like Guru Rinpoche, who meditated here in the 8th century, it remains a site of indestructible divinity.
