Arrival & Exploration

Day 1 – Welcome to the Kingdom

Arrive in Paro and soak in the initial mountain air with a visit to the historic Rinpung Dzong before a private welcome dinner.

Ascent to the Sacred Ridges

Day 2 – Ascent to Jele Dzong

Begin your trek with a gradual climb through apple orchards and pine forests to a ridge-top monastery.

Day 3 – Above the Clouds

Traverse high ridges with sweeping Himalayan views and encounter nomadic yak herders in the rhododendron forests.

The legendary Druk Path connects the sacred valleys of Paro and Thimphu through a stunning high-altitude wilderness. This premier expedition traverses ancient trading paths, offering unparalleled views of Mt. Gangkar Puensum (altitude- 7,570 m) and the crystal-clear alpine lakes that dot the ridge-line. With refined camping standards and expert guidance, experience the silence of the Himalayas in absolute comfort and safety.

This itinerary is designed for gradual acclimatization, blending rugged ridge-line views with deep cultural immersion in Bhutan's most iconic cities.

High Passes & Alpine Lakes

Day 4 – The Lake of Spirits

Trek to Jimilang Tsho, a pristine alpine lake famous for its giant trout and mountain reflections.

Day 5 – Sacred Vistas

Continue along the ridge to Simkotra Tsho with panoramic views of Northern Bhutanese peaks.

Day 6 – Descent to Phajoding

Descend into the Thimphu valley via the sacred Phajoding Monastery, a haven of peace and prayer flags.

Complete the trek and explore the cultural heart of Thimphu, visit local artisan workshops and markets.

Day 8 – Valley Return

Journey back to Paro and enjoy a traditional hot stone bath to rejuvenate after the mountain trails.

Day 9 – Departure

Savor a celebratory breakfast before your private airport transfer.
